Spot Detail

Jade Buddha Temple: It was founded in 1882 with two jade Buddha statues imported to Shanghai from Burma by sea. The temple now is so called by containing a much larger Jade Buddha, donated from Singapore

Shanghai Old Street: also becalled Shanghai Old Town , Shanghai City God Temple and China Town. This place is the old site of old Shanghai Town, in the old time only 2 small street about 100 meters nearby the old City God Temple, like a temple market. About 20 years ago the local government developed it and built a big China town around the small temple and Yuyuan Garden

Silk Museum:silk museum is a museum show how to produce silk from mulberry leave and silk worm to silk product. Also there have a display room for visitor buy some favorite silk product.

Yu Garden: a garden of traditional style architecture, decorated by beautiful pavilions, miniature lakes, bridges and rockeries. Yu Garden is not only a famous classical garden in South China, but also a major historic and cultural site under state protection.

Xin tiandi: Shanghai Xintiandi is situated at Lane No.181 of Taicang Road Shanghai. It occupies an area of about 30,000 square meters. It was a former old Shikumen which has been given restoration. Now it serves as wine stores, cafes and restaurants, and shopping malls.

Jinmao Tower: Jinmao tower is a landmark of Shanghai located at the most famous Shanghai financial center Lujiazu, on the top of the is good place have a bird look of Shanghai.

Nanjing Road:Shanghai's main pedestrian shopping street, enjoying the fame as "the No.1 commercial street of China", also it is one of the most prosperous streets in Asia.

The Bund: the Bund the waterfront of the Huangpu River, and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai for hundreds of years, winding a 1500 meters (less than one mile) length. Walking along the Bund, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower can be seen on the opposite side and also the JinMaoTower. And on this side you can see all different style of architectures which is built around 1920s. Tourist always believes it an interesting contrast.

Shanghai Museum:is a famous comprehensive museum of Chinese (ancient) arts. Its style and exhibitions just demonstrate the ancient wisdom and philosophy of Chinese. From outside the shape of Shanghai museum is upper round and down square structure, and inside this museum collected more than 120 000 relics and have 10 general display galleries:Gallery of Chinese Ancient Bronze, Gallery of Chinese Ancient Ceramics, Gallery of Chinese Paintings, Gallery of Chinese Calligraphy, Gallery of Chinese Ancient Sculpture, Gallery of Chinese Ancient Jade, Gallery of Chinese Coins, Chinese Ming and Qing Furniture Gallery, Gallery of Chinese Seals, Chinese Minority Nationalities' Art Gallery.

Zhujiajiao:located in a suburb of Shanghai city, Zhujiajiao is an ancient water town well-known throughout the country, with a history of more than 1700 years. Covering an area of 1.5 square kilometers, the little fan-shaped town glimmers like a bright pearl in the landscape of lakes and mountains.
Endowed with another elegant name - 'Pearl Stream' - the little town is the best-preserved among the four ancient towns in Shanghai.The antiquity of the bridges, the rareness of the streets and the seclusion of the alleyways all present you a scene of "boats sailing on the water and people touring in painting". Nowadays, the famous scenic spot included Fang sheng bridge, Huimin bridge,Ping'an bridge,Kezhi garden , North Street, Great Qing Post Office and so on.

The No.1 Silk Factory: Suzhou is famous for its silk produts. Tourists may go and see how the silk is processed from worm to the final product, and some of the silk history of in China. There's also an opportunity to buy something beautiful from the showroom, or just enjoy the goods on display.

Lingering GardenLingering Garden is an elaborate succession of small gardens. Lingering in a garden you will marvel at its unique architecture and art. It is located on No.338 Liuyuan Road, Suzhou City. Designed to "linger" through the generations, with a succession of small beautifully landscaped gardens, pools and pavements and a pavilion for each season. It has wonderful covered walkways, carved corridors, elaborately shaped doorways and perfect viewpoints for a variety of perspectives on this special garden.

Suzhou Embrodidery Institution: Located in a very beautiful garden, the Embroidery Institute has an international reputation for its delicate needle work. The works of the embroidery Institute are often used by the government as official gifts to other countries. They provide demonstrations of see how embroidery is produced and turned into the fabric.

The West Lake(including the Island on the lake): West Lake has an area of 5.6 square kilometers (2.2 square miles) and is the symbol of Hangzhou which lies on its banks and is a place of tranquility. A visit to Fairy Island is worth it to see on of the Ten Best Views of West Lake - Three Pools Mirroring the Moon. The occasional pagoda and Chinese-style arched bridges add atmosphere to the tree-lined walkways, verdant islands and hills make West Lake a very special part of any China experience

Meijiawu Tea Plantation and Tea Shop:Meijiawu Tea Village is located in the western part of West Lake scenic area. It has a history of over 600 years. Situated among lush green hills, it is a rustic, natural scenic spot. Visitors can have a tea culture experience by seeing tea picking and processing. It also showcases tea products of all kinds including Jasmine tea, Dragon Well tea, Green tea, Black tea, and Wulong tea. Visitors can buy the tea in the tea shop.

Dujiangyan Irrigation Project Dujiangyan is the oldest and only surviving no-dam irrigation system in the world; andDujiangyan is the oldest and only surviving no-dam irrigation system in the world; and a wonder in the development of Chinese science. The project consists of three important parts, namely Yuzui, Feishayan and Baopingkou scientifically designed to automatically control the water flow of the rivers from the mountains to the plains throughout the year.
Over 2,200 years ago, the city was threatened by the frequent floods . Li Bing, a local official , together with his son, decided to construct an irrigation system on the Minjiang River to prevent flooding. After a lengthy study and a lot of hard work by the local people, the great Dujiangyan Irrigation Project was completed. Since then, the Chengdu Plain has been free of flooding and the people have been living peacefully and affluently. Now, the project is honored as the 'Treasure of Sichuan', which still plays a crucial role in draining off floodwater, irrigating farms and providing water resources for more than 50 cities in Sichuan province.

Jinli Ancient Street was set up and opened for public in 2004. Walking in this street, historic lanes, old official residences, vernacular dwelling, inns and shops will bring you back to the ancient China. After its recent renovation, Jinli Ancient Street has become one of the busy trading streets in Chengdu. On both sides of this 350-meter street there are numerous small stores selling handicrafts, antiques, and souvenirs such as Shu embroidery, lacquer products, folk handicrafts, old porcelain dishes, curios, or calligraphies and paintings.By combining the culture of the Three Kingdoms Period with the folk customs of Sichuan, the buildings on both sides including tea-houses, stores and hotels, are modeled on the architectural style of a traditional old town in western Sichuan Province from the Qing (1644-1911) Dynasty. The wooden steles and the brick-walls exhibit an ancient charm.

Jinsha Site Museum is a rare site museum among Chinese museums because of its combination of modern civilization and the civilization of ancient Shu State (Sichuan Province was called Shu State in ancient times), as well as the combination of ecological environment and culture. It was finally completed. Covering a total area of about 38,000 square meters (9 acres), it mainly consists of Relics Hall, Exhibition Hall, Cultural Heritage Protection Center and Ecological Garden.
Jinsha Site Museum is built to protect, study and display the archaeological finds of Jinsha Site, which was discovered by archaeologists in February 2001. Covering an area of about five square kilometers (1,236 acres), Jinsha Site probably dates back to about 3,000 years ago, the time from the late Shang Dynasty (17th-11th century BC) to the early Spring and Autumn Period (770 BC-476 BC). It is the core of Shang and Zhou Dynasty (17th century BC-221 BC) and the second ancient city of Shu State found only after the Three Ster Piles Museum. Altogether 63 sacrificial spots, 6,000 pieces of precious relics, over 70 building spots and 3 centralized cemeteries were unearthed here.

Panda Breeding Research CenterThe giant pandas are not only a Chinese national treasure but are also beloved by people the world over.Located just 10km (6miles) away from downtown Chengdu, the Panda Breeding Research Center has been created and imitated the pandas' natural habitat in order that they might have the best possible environment for rearing and breeding. It cares also for other rare and endangered wild animals with an area of 560 mus (92 acres), 96% of which is verdure. Giant pandas, lesser pandas, black-necked cranes, white storks as well as over 20 species of rare animals are fed and bred there throughout the year. Verdant bamboo, bright flowers, fresh air, a natural hill scene and a beautiful artificial view are merged ingeniously at the base.
