Jade Buddha Temple: It was founded in 1882 with two jade Buddha statues imported to Shanghai from Burma by sea. The temple now is so called by containing a much larger Jade Buddha, donated from Singapore
Shanghai Old Street: also becalled Shanghai Old Town , Shanghai City God Temple and China Town. This place is the old site of old Shanghai Town, in the old time only 2 small street about 100 meters nearby the old City God Temple, like a temple market. About 20 years ago the local government developed it and built a big China town around the small temple and Yuyuan Garden
Silk Museum: silk museum is a museum show how to produce silk from mulberry leave and silk worm to silk product. Also there have a display room for visitor buy some favorite silk product.
Yu Garden: a garden of traditional style architecture, decorated by beautiful pavilions, miniature lakes, bridges and rockeries. Yu Garden is not only a famous classical garden in South China, but also a major historic and cultural site under state protection.
Xin tiandi: Shanghai Xintiandi is situated at Lane No.181 of Taicang Road Shanghai. It occupies an area of about 30,000 square meters. It was a former old Shikumen which has been given restoration. Now it serves as wine stores, cafes and restaurants, and shopping malls.
Jinmao Tower: Jinmao tower is a landmark of Shanghai located at the most famous Shanghai financial center Lujiazu, on the top of the is good place have a bird look of Shanghai.
Nanjing Road: Shanghai's main pedestrian shopping street, enjoying the fame as "the No.1 commercial street of China", also it is one of the most prosperous streets in Asia.
The Bund: the Bund the waterfront of the Huangpu River, and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai for hundreds of years, winding a 1500 meters (less than one mile) length. Walking along the Bund, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower can be seen on the opposite side and also the JinMaoTower. And on this side you can see all different style of architectures which is built around 1920s. Tourist always believes it an interesting contrast.
Shanghai Museum:is a famous comprehensive museum of Chinese (ancient) arts. Its style and exhibitions just demonstrate the ancient wisdom and philosophy of Chinese. From outside the shape of Shanghai museum is upper round and down square structure, and inside this museum collected more than 120 000 relics and have 10 general display galleries:Gallery of Chinese Ancient Bronze, Gallery of Chinese Ancient Ceramics, Gallery of Chinese Paintings, Gallery of Chinese Calligraphy, Gallery of Chinese Ancient Sculpture, Gallery of Chinese Ancient Jade, Gallery of Chinese Coins, Chinese Ming and Qing Furniture Gallery, Gallery of Chinese Seals, Chinese Minority Nationalities' Art Gallery.
Zhujiajiao:located in a suburb of Shanghai city, Zhujiajiao is
an ancient water town well-known throughout the country, with a history of more
than 1700 years. Covering an area of 1.5 square kilometers, the little fan-shaped
town glimmers like a bright pearl in the landscape of lakes and mountains.
Endowed with another elegant name - 'Pearl Stream' - the little town is
the best-preserved among the four ancient towns in Shanghai.The antiquity of the
bridges, the rareness of the streets and the seclusion of the alleyways all present
you a scene of "boats sailing on the water and people touring in painting".
Nowadays, the famous scenic spot included Fang sheng bridge, Huimin bridge,Ping'an
bridge,Kezhi garden ,North Street, Great Qing Post Office and so on.
Elephant Trunk Hill :Elephant Trunk Hill is located at the junction of Li River and Peach Blossom River. It is the symbol of Guilin with 55 meters high and got its name because its shape resembles an elephant with its trunk drinking from the Li River. The hill is pierced with many caves and topped with a small pagoda.
Reed Flute Cave:Located 5 kilometers northwest of Guilin city, the Reed Flute Cave gets the name from the reeds used for making flutes and pipes that grow at its entrance. The cave is regarded as the largest and most impressive cave in Guilin. It is 240 meters long, and the length of the tour is about 550 meters offering a magic land of stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars, stone curtains, birds, plants and animals in fantastic shapes and colors. The visit lasts for 40 minutes and there are a lot of steps. Watch your step as the lights are dim. You guide will show you by electric torch.
Fubo Hill: Fubo Hill is on the west bank of the Li River in the city center. Partially submerged in the river it was named after General Fubo of the Tang Dynasty who built Mayuan Temple on the hill. Because of its location and height, Fubo Hill can tame the waves and stop the surging waters which then form whirlpools. It is 213 meters above sea level and 62 meters above ground level. There are almost 350 steps to climb to reach top of hill and but then you can enjoy a birds eye view of Guilin city.
Seven Star Park (including the panda house):Situated on the eastern side of the Li River, it is the biggest park inside Guilin city. Its takes its name from Seven Star Hill which consists of seven peaks which are said to resemble the star pattern of the Ursa Major (Big Dipper) constellation. Attractions in the park include Flowers Bridge, Camel Hill and much more. The Panda House features a number of beautiful pandas.
